Happiness is more than just feeling good. When we flourish we’re engaged with ourselves, our work, the world, and others.

A sense of well-being influences our health and resilience, and broadens how we think, feel, act, and connect. Right now, our need for sustainable happiness has never been greater.

Research shows that depression and anxiety continue to increase around the world. And the Office of National Statistics (ONS) has revealed the UK’s recent levels of depression, in the context of the cost of living crisis;

  • Almost one in six adults of all ages experienced some form of depression in October 2022, up from one in ten before the pandemic

  • It’s not just adults. According to research at the NHS, in 2022 almost one in five (18%) of children aged 7 to 16 years, and young people aged 17 to 24 years (22.0%) had a probable mental disorder

Happiness Facilitator Training

Do you want to do good and feel good? Then become a Certified Happiness Facilitator with us, and let’s create a happier, kinder world together!

We’ve taken over a decade of study into the art and science of happiness, from thought-leaders, scientists and researchers around the world, and distilled it into something really fun and easy to explore - and which you can share with others!

Our course is the perfect place to discuss ways to be happier, to explore them, and to put them into practice!

Who We Are

We’re the Museum of Happiness, a London-based not-for profit social enterprise who shares the art and science of sustainable happiness with individuals, communities, schools and organisations. We are based at the Well Bean Co in East London.

We base our work in research-backed positive psychology, focusing on mindfulness, self-compassion, gratitude and self‑care.

Launched in 2015, we hit the news when our Winter Happiness Festival attracted thousands of people in 2016! Since then we’ve shared the art and science of happiness with over 20,000 people and had lots of fun along the way.

We’ve held 500+ workshops, festivals, events and interactive experiences across London, and as far afield as Nepal and Sydney, Australia! We’ve attracted thousands of participants, educating the public on the skills of happiness.

We're one of Facebook's Top 100 Community Organisations, and have won awards for our innovative approach to relieving the stress and suffering experienced by children, communities, individuals and organisations who don’t normally feel comfortable accessing mental health or wellbeing services.

And we’ve worked with everyone from Google, Facebook and Bank of America to homeless hostels, universities and schools. We’re honoured to have helped doctors and nurses in the NHS, and even ex-military veterans at JP Morgan.
